The two fur farms most raided by the A.L.F. both go out of business
Two fur farms in the U.S. have been raided by the Animal Liberation Front more than any others: Brainards Mink Ranch (Snohomish, WA, raided five times) and the Carmel Mink Ranch (Hinsdale, MA, raided four times). In the last several months, both farms have been reported closed.
Brainard’s Mink Ranch was the closest known mink farm to Seattle, and saw a total of five mink releases as far back as 1996. Carmel Mink Ranch was the closest mink farm to Boston, and in 1997 four activists were arrested in a raid at the farm. In that action, six mink were liberated before police arrived.
It is unlikely the A.L.F. can be directly credited for the closures – Brainard’s Mink Ranch was last raided in 2001, while Carmel Mink Ranch was last visited by the A.L.F. in 2007. However the closures will perhaps bring a little peace to those who have visited their sheds in many overnight actions over the years and given freedom to their prisoners.

YAY! I don’t know if it’s because of ALF raids or not, what really matters to me is to know that nobody will ever suffer and die over there. This is a Victory for fur-bearers animals, and I’m happy for it! Thanks for posting, may all be closed, may ALL animals run free!

This is excellent…As the crisis with animals reaches alarming proportions world wide, more and more pressure is going to have to have to be exerted on Governments to do something about it. As long as countries world wide can get away with Animal abuse, we remain the unevolved parasite on this planet… It is up to us as a world wide community to get active, get involved, sign petitions, join shelters, adopt animals and force governments and vets alike to spay and neuter animals for a minimal cost to the average man on the street. Tougher laws and jail sentences should be enforced, and offenders literally jailed. No fines, just jail…
No animal deserve to live in horrible conditions or to be killed, all animals deserve our love and protection!!
do you eat meat if so they torture the hell out of the animals i do not agree with it but do you practice wht u preech ? i only eat the meet i go and hunt and humanley shoot with my gun in the woods were animals have a fair chance i am a vegitairian tht only eats the meat i humanley kill
